KIPP North Star Elementary & Middle School is a tuition-free K-8 public charter school in North Minneapolis that was founded in 2008. Our belief is that each child comes into our school bearing gifts and talents, so our educators and staff strive to support them in building the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

SCHOOL HOURS

Monday to Thursday
8:30am-4:00pm

Friday (Early Dismissal)
8:30am-1:00pm

UNIFORM POLICY

All KIPP North Star students must wear their school uniform to school every day. School uniforms consist of the KIPP North Star uniform shirt and black or khaki pants.

KIPP North Star serves students in special education. Our holistic approach serves the needs of children with mild to moderate disabilities including speech and learning delays. Our goal is to individualize content for students while allowing them to access the least restrictive environment.
