Every school in the state of Minnesota is governed by a Board of Directors. The responsibility of this governance body is to provide strategic direction, compliance with statutory regulations, and operational efficiency.

KIPP Minnesota’s annual virtual board elections will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 6:00pm. All KIPP MN team members and parents, guardians, or caregivers are eligible to participate in the virtual board election. The KIPP MN Board of Directors include community members, a current licensed teacher, and a parent/guardian of a current KIPP MN student. Our virtual KIPP MN Board Election is a great opportunity to engage and learn more about the function of a school board. Please visit our Board of Directors page on our website for more information.

We would like to invite our KIPP MN team members and families to join us for our virtual board elections where you can learn about each of the eligible candidates as they share their background and experience, as well as their motivators for serving on the KIPP Minnesota Board of Directors. During the election, eligible participants will receive an electronic ballot and the line will remain open for voting from 6:00-6:30pm. No other programming will occur.
