KIPP MN is looking forward to celebrating our rich history and watching our talented KIPPSters perform for our annual Black History Month Celebration on Thursday, February 26. Our staff, students, and families will come together for a school-wide Black History Month Celebration at our KIPP North Star campus in the gym.
Students have the opportunity to sign up for individual or group performances that reflect and honor our rich Black history.
Black History Month Performance Ideas:
Recite spoken word or poetry
Dance performance based on a song based from a specific era
Song or musical performance based on songs that reflect Black history
Act out a significant event that occurred to shape Black history
We ask that students please complete the sign up form below by Friday, January 23rd.
