“I aspire to create a school that emphasizes the belief that effort leads to success, empowers scholars to reveal the brightness in themselves, and encourages individuals to shine their light for others.”
— Amanda Markowitz, Founding School Principal

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science at the University of Michigan in 2010 and earned her K-6 Elementary Licensure from Hamline University in 2012. When she is not with her students, Amanda enjoys spending time with family, reading, and exercising!
